The Preferred Options Consultation opened on 10 January 2025 and runs until 7 March 2025.

The Preferred Options document can be accessed via this link South Warwickshire Local Plan – Preferred Options 2025. A hard copy of the consultation documents will be available to view at the Pavilion hall, Hockley Heath, on Tuesdays between 10.00am and 2.00pm until Tuesday 4 March 2025, and residents are encouraged to comment on the proposals.

A number of online and in person events are being held (see below). These provide the opportunity for residents to ask questions on the consultation document and the process of responding.

Closed at its junction with Sadlerswell Lane.

From Tuesday 27th August 2024 at 08:00 until Friday 30th August 2024 at 17:00.

Works being carried out on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

Diversion route: School Drive, Dyers Lane, Kineton Lane and A3400 Stratford Road and vice versa for opposite direction.

Access will be maintained through the site for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies.

Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction and access through the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of closure.

Notice of Temporary Road Closures – August / September 2024

Illshaw Heath Road, Hockley Heath B94 6DJ

From its junction with Warings Green Road to its junction with Creynolds Lane.

Closure will be in place on Friday 23rd August 2024 between 09:30 to 15:30.

Alternative routes for traffic will be signed via Creynolds Lane, A34 Stratford Road, A3400 Stratford Road and Kineton Lane and vice versa.

A3400 Box Trees Road, Dorridge – The Roundabout at Kineton Lane. Closure will be in place overnight for 2 nights from Tuesday 30th July 2024 until the morning of Thursday 1st August 2024. 08:00 until 06:00 each night. Alternative routes via Illshaw Heath Road, School Road, A3400 Box Trees Road, B4101 Aylesbury Road, B4101 Grange Road, Earlswood Road, Four Ashes Road, Widney Manor Road, Widney Lane and Monkspath Hall Road.
Reason for restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.
Works on behalf of: SMBC – Maintenance.
